Nancy Kondo, President
Nancy Kondo, founder and president of NKL Marketing began her career with internships in the retail marketing industry for the likes of Tim Horton’s and Wind Mobile. It was there that her fascination with the advertising and marketing industry began. She developed and honed her skills in the agency and client sectors, having had the opportunity to execute national retail projects for the likes of Intel and Toshiba. She quickly made the transition to digital marketing and public relations when it became apparent that digital was on the rise.
With 5 years of experience under her belt, and a recent Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of Toronto, Nancy took a leap of faith and started NKL Marketing in February 2017, after a whirlwind 27 day last minute trip to Thailand with clients. Within her first month, she grew the agency from a one-woman-show to a company.
In her spare time, Nancy authors one of Toronto’s premier lifestyle blogs, The Fancy Nancy and sits on the board of the Ornaments of Grace and Virtue, a Canadian charity that provides education and leadership training to girls in Nigeria.
